THE NEW MUSIC SHOW 2012

Our school's event on the 10th of July at Pyles Live was succesfully accomplished. The show was of the highest professional standards and received excellent reviews from a full crowd audience. It covered a great variety of different music styles from Pop to Rock to RnB to Greek music. Our singers were accompanied by the dancers of Dance Style Crew as well as by the talented rock band WATTS during certain parts of the show.

Music Exams Results.

Once again our students had excellent results at their music exams. Specifically, all our students that gave the well known and internationally recognised Rockschool exams passed with Distinction and Merit Grades. Also two of our students were accepted to continue their studies at reputable English Universities. Louis Panayiotou will study Popular Music at the University of Liverpool and Joey Lagidze will study Muic technology at the University of Kent. Well done to all of them. We wish them good luck!

Welcome to our website

We are a modern music school specialising mainly in Modern Singing. Our school was founded in 2005 and though still relatively a new school, it has been very successful in the development of new talent, especially in contemporary singing.

Many of our students are continuing their studies abroad at reputable higher institutes of music while others already have a professional career in music.

We are a modern music school specialising mainly in Contemporary Styles (Pop, Rock, Greek music). Our school was founded in 2005 and it has been very successful in the development of new talent. Many of our students are continuing their studies abroad at reputable higher institutes of music while others already have a professional career in music. Here we teach both Contemporary Singing and various Contemporary Instruments as well as Music Technology. Our teachers are excellent professionals and the classses take place at our 'state of the art' professional studios. We also undertake recording and mixing projects for bands and solo artists and we produce music for songs, films, television and advertisements. * Our school prepares students for Royal Schools of Music exams (mostly classically oriented) or Rockschool exams (contemporary repertoire). These exams are highly regarded when applying to universities for a course in music, musical theatre or musicals.

* Music Technology classes teach you to use various software on the computer such as Cubase, Reason, Wavelab, Finale and Sibelius. Also you can learn important recording and mixing techniques.

Our school offers lessons to those who wish to:

- acquire or improve their technique and performance in singing or instrument etc.

- learn how to use important music software for composing, recording and production of music (Music Technology).

- pursue an academic or professional career in singing, in a musical instrument or music in general.

- get involved simply because they love music and it helps them deal with everyday life!

Premises

We have two modern, professional studios where besides teaching, we also do recordings. There is a separate room for music theory and also a spacious, comfortable waiting area with TV, sound system and a computer for the students or parents that are waiting. Our premises and facilities are unique, thus raising the standards of the lesson and making the learning process much more effective and interesting. The acoustics of the rooms and our equipment are exceptional - something which all musicians notice from the very first moment when recording with us!

Objectives

To develop musical talent in young people, especially those who have a passion for singing, playing a musical instrument, producing or recording music on the computer and contemporary music in general! Our school is open to anybody who loves music and wants to study it either to become a professional musician or just as a hobby! You can be assured that in NEW MUSIC you will find the proper environment and the right people to support and encourage you in your passion for music. Many of our students have become friends and they keep in touch with us until today!

Concerts

At the end of each season, we organise a concert at a well known music venue. The rehearsals and the event itself are of the highest standards with professional sound and lighting engineers, the participation of contemporary dancers, a music band and presenters. During the preparation time the singing students (pop & rock) have rehearsals with a professional choreographer and dancers to improve their movements and stage presence.

Those who have attended our shows have been impressed by the quality of our school, since what we present is not just a typical concert but a complete show of the highest standard in every aspect. The experience that our students gain from participating are invaluable.
